WinSize2
Moving and Resizing of Windows

WinSize2 can move windows automatically to a predefined place and / or Resize the width and/or height to a predefined size. You can set / reset the attribut "Always on Top" for each window.

Windows to be moved or resized are held in a list in WinSize2.

It identifies the Windows to move / resize according to its window title. Each time the window is opened (new created) WinSize2 compares the title to an internal list of title which are to be acted apon. When the window is still registered (in most cases: on screen or minimized) the appearance is not changed also if position / size was changed by the user.

Attribut "ALWAYS": Separately for position and size you can select to fix the given values.

This is a brief instruction only. If you want to know more about WinSize2, please read the Handbook included in the download.

Special Parameters
=====================

Some parameters once set for a window (like "Contained in title" or "Keep position / size of the original window (-1)") are not overwritten when a new window position / size is learned (hotkey pressed once). They are deleted when you delete the window's list entry (hotkey pressed twice).

(NB: There was a WinSize before, but all links I've found to download the program were broken (Page not available) and the latest update for WinSize 1.6 beta was from 1998. I've read years ago that the author of the program had lost his sources at a computer crash and was not willing to reconstruct those.)

So I decided - as I needed new features that were not covered by WinSize - to write a WinSize2 myself. WinSize2 was started in 2005 as project written in Autohotkey (AHK). So WinSize2 runs on all OSes where AHK runs.

WinSize2 is distributed as an EXE file (compiled by AHK). A documentation in English and German is available as PDF and included in the package.

AHK source code can be used as an #Include file and bound into other AHK-programs.
