Option 1: Cached Package (Unreliable, Requires Internet - Same As Community)-
Open Source or Commercial:
- Proxy Repository - Create a proxy nuget repository on Nexus, Artifactory Pro, or a proxy Chocolatey repository on ProGet. Point your upstream to https://community.chocolatey.org/api/v2/. Packages cache on first access automatically. Make sure your choco clients are using your proxy repository as a source and NOT the default community repository. See source command for more information.

Package Internalizer (C4B)

3. Copy Your Script
choco upgrade bitcoin-unlimited.install -y --source="'INTERNAL REPO URL'" [other options]
See options you can pass to upgrade.
See best practices for scripting.
Add this to a PowerShell script or use a Batch script with tools and in places where you are calling directly to Chocolatey. If you are integrating, keep in mind enhanced exit codes.
If you do use a PowerShell script, use the following to ensure bad exit codes are shown as failures:
choco upgrade bitcoin-unlimited.install -y --source="'INTERNAL REPO URL'"
$exitCode = $LASTEXITCODE
Write-Verbose "Exit code was $exitCode"
$validExitCodes = @(0, 1605, 1614, 1641, 3010)
if ($validExitCodes -contains $exitCode) {
Exit 0
}
Exit $exitCode

Bitcoin Unlimited is an implementation of a full Bitcoin Core node. By running it, you express an interest to the Bitcoin network to make specific changes to the Bitcoin protocol, including changes to Bitcoin's blockchain blocksize.
The Bitcoin Unlimited client is not a competitive block scaling proposal like BIP-101, BIP-102, etc. Instead it tracks consensus. This means that it tracks the blockchain that the hash power majority follows, irrespective of blocksize, and signals its ability to accept larger blocks via protocol and block versioning fields.
If you support an increase in the blocksize limit by any means -- or just support Bitcoin conflict resolution as originally envisioned by its founder -- consider running a Bitcoin Unlimited client.
Disk requirements
- As of 12 May 2017, the total size of the BTC blockchain is 107.9 GB
- Size increases based on quantity of transactions (growth chart)
- Blockchain is slowly downloaded only when Bitcoin Unlimited is running and connected to network
- Blockchain default location is
%AppData%\Bitcoin\data
Security
- This program should only be installed on a trusted machine.
- By default, upon first execution Bitcoin Unlimited creates an unencrypted wallet file at
%AppData%\Bitcoin\wallet.dat
- Wallet.dat stores all your private keys for public Bitcoin addresses. If this file is not encrypted, anyone with access to the file may withdraw funds from addresses stored in the file. For this reason, you should encrypt the file as soon as possible with Bitcoin Unlimited.
- After encrypting wallet.dat, back up wallet.dat to at least one other storage medium.

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).
Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.
