Date selection enhancements added to Lifesize Cloud Admin Console
We’ve made it easier to sort your call information. After selecting View all under Call History, Users or Video Systems or after clicking on the Call Quality chart on the Dashboard, account managers can adjust the date range directly from that page without having to go back to the Dashboard.

The volume icon has been moved to the left-hand side of the main Active Call screen for quick access when you’re in a call.

Would you like to get more details about your calls? On the Dashboard of the web console, administrators can now see the date, duration and participant count of all calls in their Lifesize Cloud account.

Group Chat comes to Lifesize Cloud
People working on project teams have asked for group chat to enhance collaboration and now Lifesize Cloud has it. With this release all existing meeting rooms are instantly upgraded and new meeting rooms automatically include group chat.
Any member of the Lifesize Cloud account can join group chats. Anyone can visit a meeting room at any time and join current or future chats. Chat history is always available and can serve as the minutes of a meeting or the record of decisions made and work accomplished.

Quick gestures for Lifesize Phone HD now available
Quick gestures have been added for Lifesize Phone HD attached to a Lifesize Icon system. For example, while in a call, a two-finger touch on any screen will mute or unmute audio.
On-screen menu enhancement

With a bigger and sharper display and improved touchscreen performance, the new Lifesize Phone HD makes it easy to deploy, manage, and update your Icon systems through the Lifesize Cloud service. The phone has four options on the home screen, so you can easily Start managing your systems, place a Call, Present data from your laptop, or adjust the Camera. It’s the only device you need on your conference room table.

New bandwidth settings for enhanced video and presentations
The default bandwidth for calls placed with Cloud desktop apps has been increased from 1152 kb/s to 1328 kb/s. In addition, the bandwidth allocation between video and presentation on two-way calls is now 50/50, allowing for premium rendering of presentations while maintaining high quality video.
More control over participants for moderators, lecturers, and meeting owners
Enhanced controls allow moderators, lecturers, and meeting owners to remove participants instantly and silently from any meeting. Learn more.
Direct calling to Cloud users and Icons using Skype for Business
Users of Skype for Business, previously called Microsoft Lync, now have the ability to call direct to Cloud users and Icons.
Support for additional callers
Lifesize Cloud now supports up to 50 meeting participants. To learn more about the features available with your subscription plan, contact your Lifesize representative.
