PicoScope 6 is the latest version of our oscilloscope software. This release is compatible with all non-automotive USB PC Oscilloscopes (PicoScope Automotive is available for users of Automotive Oscilloscopes).
VERIFICATION
Verification is intended to assist the Chocolatey moderators and community
in verifying that this package's contents are trustworthy.
Verify the certificate
The certificate is needed for the installation of the picoscope driver. It is added to the TrustedPublisher section of the certificate store
prior to the installation to allow for a silent setup procedure.
The certificate is included in the official installer and can be verified like this:
1. Download the installer <https://www.picotech.com/download/software/sr/PicoScope6_6.14.44.5870.exe>
2. Run the installer manually, preferably in a vm
3. When asked "Would you like to install this device software?" make sure "Always trust software from 'Pico Technology Ltd'" is checked and click "Install"
4. Once setup is complete run 'certlm'
5. Go to Trusted Publishers > Certificates
6. Double click "Pico Technology Ltd" and open the "Details" tab
7. Verify that the Thumbprint field matches "bae19ab8365e8e08a17df2b42852a4afd81be504"
