Description

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is an integrated environment for accessing, configuring, managing, administering, and developing all components of SQL Server. SSMS combines a broad group of
graphical tools with a number of rich script editors to provide developers and administrators of all skill levels access to SQL Server.

This release supports SQL Server 2016 through SQL Server 2005, and has many new features including improved compatibility with previous versions of SQL Server, a light weight stand-alone web installer, and toast notifications within SSMS when new releases become available.
This release also provides the greatest level of support for working with the latest cloud features in Azure SQL Database.

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).

Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.
