This command will install Ventoy without creating any desktop shortcuts...

choco install ventoy -params '/NoDesktopShortcutVentoy /NoDesktopShortcutVentoyPlugson /NoDesktopShortcutVentoyVlnk'

Package Note

Starting with version, Ventoy will now be installed to $env:ChocolateyInstall\lib\ventoy. This change was made because Chocolatey is intended to be used in a multi-user environment. Before this version, the package installation script was placing Ventoy in $env:LocalAppData\ventoy, which is limited to the current user only.

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).

Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.
